    Student account refunds are processed multiple times per week throughout the semester. 获得这些资金的最快方式是注册直接存款. Students that enroll in direct deposit will have their refund deposited in to their personal bank account automatically and the possibility of the check being lost or stolen is eliminated. 对于没有注册直接存款的学生, a paper check will be issued and mailed to the HOME address listed in 校园连接.     When the payments or credits applied to an account are greater than the charges or costs on an account a credit balance is generated. 信用余额有时会导致退款.

    A credit balance can also occur if there is a decrease in charges on an account that has been paid in full. 这可能发生在:

    • A student drops a class or withdraws from a term resulting in a reduction in tuition and fee charges.

    请注意: Refund processing may be delayed if further review is necessary to ensure the refund is in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and state and university policies.

    Approximately two weeks after the financial aid is applied to NDSU account balances, Customer Account Services will resume normal credit balance refund processing.

    • A minimum waiting period of fourteen days must elapse before the refund will be generated.

    Excessive and intentional overpayments may be rejected at the discretion of NDSU’s Customer Account Services department.
